New Waterway

The Nieuwe Waterweg and the Botlek are being deepened to allow larger ships ever greater accessibility to the port of Rotterdam.

The most striking example of innovation and sustainable port development in Rotterdam is Maasvlakte 2.

Rotterdam Food Hub

The Rotterdam Food Hub is taking shape along the Calandkanaal at the entrance to the Maasvlakte.

The port area is always under development. We do this in cooperation with many different parties.

QUAY WALL CONSTRUCTION AMALIAHAVEN

Container volumes in Rotterdam are expected to continue to grow strongly in the coming years. To further strengthen its leading position as Europe’s largest container port, the Port of Rotterdam Authority is investing in the further expansion of the Prinses Amaliahaven located on Maasvlakte II.
